Leaf Characteristics: Puerh packed in pomelo fruit
Description: This cooked pu-erh tea packed into a fresh pomelo fruit is a rare find. Pomelos are a citrus fruit native to South East Asia. The fruit has an extremely thick skin that is 15-25cm in diameter. It is similar to a shaddock, and distant relative of a grapefruit. The fruit is then tied with wire and gradually tightened as the fruit is slowly dried over the hearth. These teas are aged for many years before consumption. The teas are considered a very healthy beverage by the locals.
All Bon Teavant puerh teas have been stored properly, in a cool, dark environment with free flowing air and away from odors such as foods or fragrances of any kind.
