Harvested in 1997 and aged for over a decade, this Grand Shou Pu-erh comes from the tea-grown mountains of Yunnan Province in Southern China. The intial aroma is one of fresh earth and malt, and once brewed, exhibits an underlying sweetness and clarity of flavor that is surprisingly delicious. This is an excellent value for the tea connoisseur who wants to learn more about cooked/aged puerhs.

We recognise that it is sometimes difficult to get ahold of a puerh that is authentically more than ten years old, and we are very happy to carry this aged beauty of Red Blossom Tea, one of the finest and most respected tea merchants in the San Francisco Bay Area.

All Bon Teavant puerh teas have been stored properly, in a cool, dark environment with free flowing air and away from odors such as foods or fragrances of any kind.
